Hi all, I met him on three cruises. He's a member of a band that plays in one of the lounges. On my last trip I gave him a scrape book about their band that I had found on the internet. He was quite pleased and surprised. We already had exchanged phone numbers and he told me he would call me. Also has insisted that I can call him. He's from the Philippines. Before I go on I know all about crew members romance stories so I'm very much aware of this. But he really seems different and sincere. There's always been some sort of chemistry between us. When I got home the very next day he called and wanted to know if we could get together so we met in the city for lunch. It was very nice but we only had about 1 hr. before he had to get back to the ship. He insisted on walking me back to the train station and on the way back he said "I think about you all the time" and all I could do was say "you do" but I took his hand. I'm not good at the dating game and I tend to get afraid and hold back. I only hope that by taking his hand that he realizes I like him too. Again, I was really surprised by the turn of events. To think that he wanted me to met him on land for lunch really impressed me. The first station I came to I said my goodbye and he told me that he would call me.
I guess my question is do you think he could be attracted to me too by saying "he thinks about me all the time"? Nothing else was said after that. I really at this point just want to be friends with him and keep in touch. Should I wait till he gets in touch with me or should I call him? I just hope that I didn't give him the impression that I ran away from him to fast. I was just nervous. But if he's interested, wouldn't he still call/e-mail me at home?
Just confused on what to do next. I also want to still be able to see them again on another cruise. Help!
